Interview: Cornandbeans

Cornandbeans is a electronica artist with main styles of Trance and Drum n Bass, but he also produces Techno, Funk/Jazz, Hardcore, Classical and Ambient music. He uses his guitar, cello, keyboard and bass along with Reason 3 and Fruity Loops Studio 7 to create his vast array of tracks. His music is very popular on Newgrounds.com and FlashFlashRevolution.

Here's what he had to say in my quick interview with him.

Me: hey.
Cornandbeans (CnB): hey.
Me: I would like to interview for my blog, are you free now?
CnB: Sure.
Me: Let's get started, um, first question.
Me: What is the meaning behind your seemingly random name?
CnB: Well, it was an inside joke from like, 4th Grade. I don't even remember why it was funny. I think it gives me an advantage, though. Because it's so easy to remember.
Me: What music artists do you listen to?
CnB: Oooh, well, I had an obsession with Rage Against the Machine about 2 or 3 years ago. But I usually listen to classical stuff. You know, like soundtracks. But for electronica, I like Hixxy, Noisia, Spor, and some of Aphex Twin's ambient stuff. I also like some underground Hip-Hop and old school stuff.
Me: Do people in your everyday life know who you are?
CnB: Yeah, most of my friends do, but none of them are in the electronica scene.
Me: What was the first song you ever made?
CnB: It was a song made on a MIDI sequencer called jazzware of something. It blew pretty hard.
Me: Do you know any foreign languages? (random question)
CnB: Yeah, German. I used to take French but, eh.

MARY GOT A HAIRCUT, XD!

So, Mary got a haircut. I find that hilarious. Oh, and Im tracked out (stupid year-round.) Oh, and I plan to learn something over the break but I'm not sure what. Hmmm, maybe I'll learn German! I'm planning on having a party soon, but I'm not sure when. I plan on it being a techno party, those are always fun, ;] So, yeah. I don't really know what to talk about. OH YEAH! I plan to write some books (horror novels) hopefully. I LOVE HORROR. I think vampires may play a large role in the plot. Check back for updates. Peace. ;]

I can talk about my pets. YAY. I love them. I have a bird, a dog and a frog. (see pics.) My birds name is Rocky, because he pwns all other birds. My doggy is Brisbee. She's a plotthound. And my frog, Fred, is 8 years old! (No joke!) So yeah, see the pictures, k?

Yay, it's my... FIRST POST of W00Tness. And if you're visiting my blog, you probably know a little about me. So, I'm random. And I like vampires. And ninjas. And little bunnies who eat their brothers. But I HATE pirates. And preps. And the kids that won't share their table, which are also preps.
